With 54.5 feet in height for the Sandcastle created out of ~4000 metric Tonnes of Sand, Germany currently holds the record for the tallest Sandcastle in the World. The team that Built it has spent 3 weeks working on the artwork in Duisburg, the western city of Germany.

The Castle created depicts the Replicas of the leaning tower of Pisa, the great sphinx of Giza, venice Rialto Bridge, Athens Archeplois, Barcelona’s Sagrada familia, Thai Buddha statue, and the grave of Elvis Presley.
You will be surprise to know that the previous World record was with India wherein a Sand Castle was built in Feb,17 for a height of 14.84 meter.
