With an annual prime rent of $111 (Rs. 7105) per square feet, Connaught place is now the world’s 10th most expensive location. Connaught place has emerged as one of the top choice for office location by world’s global major companies and retail outlets.
The survey was carried out by the real estate consulting firm CBRE South Asia. In the list Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla took the 16th position with an annual prime rent of $84.10 per square feet.
New York (Midtown Manhattan) and Beijing (CBD) ranked in the top five, with Tokyo (Marunouchi/Otemachi) and Shanghai (Pudong) also featuring in the top ten most expensive list.
